Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS or equivalent experience.
• 2-5 years hands-on Oracle Retail Xstore POS development and Oracle DBs.
• 2-5 years experience with deal and promotion engines.
• 3-5 years Java 11/J2EE, SQL (Oracle, PostgreSQL).
• 2-5 years Spring and related frameworks; POS peripherals experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Management to understand customer challenges and design viable solutions.
• Advise on processes, technology, and interfaces to reduce technical debt.
• Forecast capacity for component usage and guide story sizing and backlog planning.
• Contribute to product designs to address critical issues and complex problems.
• Build software across multiple platforms and write tests aligned with standards.
• Provide ongoing support, monitoring, and maintenance of deployed products.
• Mentor less experienced engineers with technical guidance.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and share insights.
