Job summary

Signature IT World Inc. seeks an experienced Oracle Xstore Developer for a long‑term hybrid contract in St. Louis, MO or Charlotte, NC. You will design, build, test, and support Xstore POS systems, develop Java/Spring Boot microservices, and provide L3 support ensuring uptime and secure transactions.

You should have 8–10 years of software engineering experience, with deep Oracle Retail POS and API integration expertise, plus strong SQL and CI/CD tooling familiarity.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of total software engineering and IT delivery experience.
• 8 years of Oracle Retail POS / Xstore POS / GK POS L3 support.
• Strong Java, Spring Boot, and Spring framework proficiency.
• SQL design, tuning, and complex query skills.
• Experience building REST and SOAP APIs in enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with SVN and Git; CI/CD tools like Jenkins/GitLab.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and support Oracle Xstore POS and retail POS solutions.
• Provide L3 support, troubleshooting, and incident resolution for POS platforms.
• Develop backend Java Spring Boot microservices and APIs.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries and data operations.
• Build, secure, and document RESTful and SOAP web services.
• Manage source control and CI/CD workflows with SVN/Git, Jenkins, GitLab.
• Collaborate with analysts, QA, and stakeholders across sites in St. Louis and Charlotte.
• Ensure PCI-DSS compliance and follow enterprise software engineering best practices.
