Job summary

Goodwill Houston is seeking an Information Technology Systems Administrator to join the Information Technology department. You will support POS and PLC hardware, deploy operating systems, and address network and security issues to keep systems running smoothly.

This exempt role requires strong problem-solving, attention to security, PCI DSS awareness, and the ability to coordinate with vendors and leadership to deliver reliable IT services across multiple store locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Minimum of three (3) years of IT and customer service experience.
• Strong knowledge in supporting POS and/or PLC retail systems.
• Experience with PCI compliance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain POS and PLC hardware and peripherals across locations.
• Provide customer support for POS/PLC hardware and software.
• Manage user access for associates and secure POS/PLC systems.
• Ensure PCI DSS compliance as systems evolve and are deployed.
• Assist in vendor management and after-hours IT support.
