Job summary

SpotOn is seeking an Installation Specialist to prep restaurant sites for POS installations, conduct virtual site surveys, and perform on-site hardware setup and staff training. You will troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and mentor junior staff while driving installation efficiency.

Required are deep networking knowledge, ability to communicate with non-technical stakeholders, and experience with restaurant POS deployments across multiple locations. Travel is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Bachelor's degree or technical diploma not required but helpful.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Virtual Site Surveys and assess readiness of wiring, electrical, networking and internet performance.
• Install and configure POS hardware, complete cabling and connectivity setup; provide onsite staff training.
• Deliver ongoing client support, training, and post-install follow-up to ensure adoption and satisfaction.
• Travel regularly to client sites as required and mentor junior specialists.
