Job summary

SpotOn is hiring a Hardware Configuration Specialist in the United States to independently perform hardware setup, software loading, and firmware updates to ensure deployment-ready devices. You will maintain inventory accuracy and follow SOPs to help improve processes and meet SLAs.

The role requires 2–3 years in customer success or related roles, with proficiency in Android OS and POS hardware. This position offers competitive base pay and benefits, with emphasis on quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English; proven knowledge of Android OS, POS hardware, and configuration processes.
• Hands-on experience with EloView, Paxstore, ChefTab, and FreshKDS systems.
• Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Configure and update hardware to meet deployment specifications.
• Maintain 99%+ accuracy in configuration, serial tracking, and documentation.
• Identify and quarantine DOA or unconfigurable hardware and report findings.
• Ensure proper bin placement and labeling for configured equipment.
• Conduct QA checks to verify firmware and software accuracy before release.
• Collaborate with shipping and deployment teams to meet order timelines.
• Suggest improvements to reduce configuration errors or lead times.
• Deliver high-quality, accurate work by following SOPs, SLAs, and checklists.
