Job summary

TRUNO Retail Technology Solutions is seeking a POS Field Service Technician to respond to service requests across the assigned territory, troubleshoot and repair in-store equipment, and perform preventative maintenance on POS hardware, printers, scales, and network devices. The role emphasizes timely documentation and inventory management while maintaining professional conduct and confidentiality.

The technician will travel locally, support after-hours needs, and stay current with equipment

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of technology service experience (Preferred).
• Familiarity with Windows and Microsoft Office (Required).
• Practical experience with electronics/technology hardware (Preferred).
• CompTIA A+ Certification (Preferred).
• CompTIA Network+ Certification (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests timely, update customer, and document details; account for parts/equipment used.
• Interact with store personnel and Truno team professionally.
• Maintain regular hours and after-hours availability when needed.
• Travel within a 150-mile radius with limited overnight travel.
