Job summary

Social Factor is seeking talented moderators with Portuguese language experience to join project-based, temporary or part-time gigs. Some work may be 24/7, so we accommodate early birds and night owls.

We welcome US-based or UK-based candidates to help develop and grow digital communities for top brands, with English and Portuguese language workflows. Ideal candidates have native Portuguese, strong knowledge of culture and slang, ability to mirror brand voice, and proven moderation experience,

Qualifications

• Native-level understanding of Portuguese language.
• Deep knowledge of language pop culture, nomenclature, references, and slang.
• Able to mirror client's brand voice & accurately engage with users.
• Previous social media moderation experience is required and live stream moderation is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (ability to mirror voice/tone of multiple brands).
• Knowledge of and experience with major social media platforms: YouTube, Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.
• Personal computer with Windows 10 and macOS 12 or newer; internet speed of at least 150 Mbps.
• AI is a helpful tool for interview practice and proofreading, but not during live interview conversations.

Responsibilities

• Engage with users while maintaining brand voice and tone.

Some of our work is 24/7 so if you are an early bird or a night owl, we may have something for you! If you are a US-based or UK-based , Social Media Community Moderator, we'd love to hear from you. We are looking for project based, temporary or part-time work moderators working in English and Portuguese. The Community Moderator role will work to develop strong, growing, digital communities for some of the world's most well-known brands as work becomes available.

Temporary Language Community Moderator Requirements:

• Native-level understanding of Portuguese language
• Deep understanding of respective language pop culture, nomenclature, cultural references, and slang
• Able to understand client's brand voice & accurately engage with users
• Previous social media moderation experience is required and live stream moderation is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (ability to mirror voice/tone of multiple brands)
• Excellent spelling and grammar skills (skills and/or language test will be given for final candidates)
• Knowledge of and experience with the major social media platforms: Youtube, FB, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.
• Personal computer with minimum of Windows 10 and macOS 12.Personal internet speed requirement of a minimum of 150 mbps
• AI is a great tool, we encourage using it to practice interviewing, prepare questions for your interviews, and proofread your resume, however use of AI technology during live interview conversations is prohibited and could lead to disqualification.
