Social Factor is seeking a project-based Portuguese-speaking Community Moderator to help grow and manage digital communities for top brands. This remote, temporary role welcomes flexible scheduling and varies by project needs.

Ideal candidates possess native-level Portuguese, deep cultural insight, ability to mirror brand voice, and solid moderation experience across major platforms. Live stream moderation is a plus; strong written communication is required.

Qualifications

• Native-level understanding of Portuguese.
• Deep understanding of language pop culture, nomenclature, slang.
• Able to mirror client brand voice & engage with users.
• Previous social media moderation experience; live stream moderation a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; grammar tests may be given.
• Familiarity with major platforms: YouTube, Facebook, X (Twitter), Instagram, LinkedIn.

Some of our work is 24/7 so if you are an early bird or a night owl, we may have something for you! If you are a US-based or UK-based , Social Media Community Moderator, we'd love to hear from you. We are looking for project based, temporary or part-time work moderators working in English and Portuguese. The Community Moderator role will work to develop strong, growing, digital communities for some of the world's most well-known brands as work becomes available.

Temporary Language Community Moderator Requirements:

• Native-level understanding of Portuguese language
• Deep understanding of respective language pop culture, nomenclature, cultural references, and slang
• Able to understand client's brand voice & accurately engage with users
• Previous social media moderation experience is required and live stream moderation is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (ability to mirror voice/tone of multiple brands)
• Excellent spelling and grammar skills (skills and/or language test will be given for final candidates)
• Knowledge of and experience with the major social media platforms: Youtube, FB, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.
• Personal computer with minimum of Windows 10 and macOS 12.Personal internet speed requirement of a minimum of 150 mbps
• AI is a great tool, we encourage using it to practice interviewing, prepare questions for your interviews, and proofread your resume, however use of AI technology during live interview conversations is prohibited and could lead to disqualification.
