Social Factor is seeking experienced Moderators fluent in Portuguese to join as project-based, temporary, or part-time contributors. Work focuses on building and sustaining active digital communities for well-known brands.

Some roles require availability for 24/7 shifts, with opportunities for US-based or UK-based candidates. The team values the ability to mirror brand voice, engage respectfully with users, and adapt to varying brand tones across platforms.

Qualifications

• Native-level understanding of Portuguese language.
• Deep understanding of language pop culture, nomenclature, and slang.
• Understand client's brand voice and engage with users accordingly.
• Previous social media moderation experience; live stream moderation is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; mirror brand voices.
• Excellent spelling and grammar; language test may be given.
• Knowledge of major social platforms: YouTube, Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn.
• PC with Windows 10 and macOS 12; internet speed ≥150 Mbps.
• AI tools may be used for practice; not during live interviews.

Social Factor is always looking for great moderation talent with Portuguese language experience . We'd love to hear from you if you have interest in working with us on a project/gig or temporary basis . We offer flexible schedules to fit all lifestyles. Some of our work is 24/7 so if you are an early bird or a night owl, we may have something for you! If you are a US-based or UK-based , Social Media Community Moderator, we'd love to hear from you. We are looking for project based, temporary or part-time work moderators working in English and Portuguese. The Community Moderator role will work to develop strong, growing, digital communities for some of the world's most well-known brands as work becomes available.

Temporary Language Community Moderator Requirements:

• Native-level understanding of Portuguese language
• Deep understanding of respective language pop culture, nomenclature, cultural references, and slang
• Able to understand client's brand voice & accurately engage with users
• Previous social media moderation experience is required and live stream moderation is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (ability to mirror voice/tone of multiple brands)
• Excellent spelling and grammar skills (skills and/or language test will be given for final candidates)
• Knowledge of and experience with the major social media platforms: Youtube, FB, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.
• Personal computer with minimum of Windows 10 and macOS 12.Personal internet speed requirement of a minimum of 150 mbps
• AI is a great tool, we encourage using it to practice interviewing, prepare questions for your interviews, and proofread your resume, however use of AI technology during live interview conversations is prohibited and could lead to disqualification.
