Social Factor is seeking project-based, temporary, or part-time moderators with Portuguese language expertise to build and nurture growing online communities for major brands.

Roles involve moderating English and Portuguese conversations, reflecting brand voice, and delivering engaging user interactions. A fast internet connection, Windows 10/macOS 12, and prior moderation experience are required; AI tools may assist in interview prep.

Qualifications

• Native-level Portuguese language understanding.
• Deep understanding of Portuguese pop culture, nomenclature, slang.
• Ability to mirror brand voice & engage with users accurately.
• Moderation experience on social media is required; live stream moderation is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of major social platforms: YouTube, Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.
• Adequate hardware: Windows 10 and macOS 12; internet speed at least 150 Mbps.
• AI tools may be used for practice; avoid using AI during live interviews.

We are looking for project based, temporary or part-time work moderators working in English and Portuguese. The Community Moderator role will work to develop strong, growing, digital communities for some of the world's most well-known brands as work becomes available.

Temporary Language Community Moderator Requirements:

• Native-level understanding of Portuguese language
• Deep understanding of respective language pop culture, nomenclature, cultural references, and slang
• Able to understand client's brand voice & accurately engage with users
• Previous social media moderation experience is required and live stream moderation is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (ability to mirror voice/tone of multiple brands)
• Excellent spelling and grammar skills (skills and/or language test will be given for final candidates)
• Knowledge of and experience with the major social media platforms: Youtube, FB, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.
• Personal computer with minimum of Windows 10 and macOS 12.Personal internet speed requirement of a minimum of 150 mbps
• AI is a great tool, we encourage using it to practice interviewing, prepare questions for your interviews, and proofread your resume, however use of AI technology during live interview conversations is prohibited and could lead to disqualification.
