Alignerr is seeking native Portuguese language experts to evaluate and improve AI systems for Portuguese learners. This remote, asynchronous role focuses on assessing speech and writing, identifying pedagogical gaps, and providing structured feedback to enhance AI tutoring and language instruction.

The ideal candidate will have a background in teaching or assessing learner language, strong attention to detail, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Native-level proficiency in Portuguese.
• Experience teaching Portuguese or evaluating learner language.
• Fluent in English (C1/C2).
• Familiar with CEFR frameworks and learner speech patterns.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate AI-generated Portuguese speech and text for linguistic accuracy and educational quality.
• Assess learner speech and writing across CEFR levels from Pre-A1 through B2+.
• Identify learner errors and pedagogical gaps with expert judgment.
• Provide clear, structured feedback to improve AI tutoring and language-learning models.
• Collaborate asynchronously with project leads and language experts.
• Contribute to improving quality and reliability of AI language instruction.
