Job summary

SaidGig is seeking a remote language data annotator to shape high-quality Portuguese-language data for AI and ML projects. This contract role focuses on annotation, review, and language-resource development, leveraging bilingual fluency and linguistic expertise.

You will annotate, review, and curate Portuguese data; maintain accuracy across tasks; collaborate with cross-functional teams on standards and guidelines; provide feedback on language usage and data quality.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native Portuguese proficiency and fluent English.
• Experience with data annotation and language-data processing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
• Solid knowledge of Portuguese grammar, syntax, and regional variations.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines remotely, and collaborate with multicultural, distributed teams.
• Background in linguistics, language studies, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience supporting AI or localization projects and familiarity with annotation tools or platforms are preferred.

Work Terms

Remote contract engagement.

Compensation

$30 to $65 per hour.
