Alignerr Corp. seeks an AI Language Expert for Portuguese to help evaluate and improve AI systems for language learning and tutoring. This remote role offers asynchronous collaboration and an hourly contract, with a minimum commitment of 15 hours per week.

You will assess linguistic accuracy, naturalness, and educational quality across CEFR levels, providing structured feedback to enhance AI tutoring and pedagogy. No prior AI experience required.

Qualifications

• Evaluate AI-generated Portuguese speech and text for linguistic accuracy.
• Assess learner speech and writing across CEFR levels from Pre-A1 to B2+.
• Identify learner errors and pedagogical gaps with expert judgment.
• Provide structured feedback to improve AI tutoring and language learning.
• Collaborate asynchronously with project leads and language experts.
• Contribute to higher quality and reliability of AI language instruction.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated Portuguese speech and text for linguistic accuracy, naturalness, and educational quality
• Assess learner speech and writing across proficiency levels from CEFR Pre-A1 through B2+
• Identify learner errors, unnatural phrasing, and pedagogical gaps with expert judgment
• Provide clear, structured feedback that improves AI tutoring and language-learning models
• Collaborate asynchronously with project leads and fellow language experts
• Contribute to raising the overall quality and reliability of AI language instruction
