Job summary

Therapy Solutions Collective (TSCO) is seeking a School-Based Occupational Therapist for leave coverage from 9/8 to 12/1 in Portland, OR. The role is full-time and on-site, supporting students across districts for the 2026–2027 school year.

The OT will conduct evaluations, develop IEP-aligned plans, provide direct services, and collaborate with educators and families to implement effective interventions. A strong emphasis on documentation, team communication, and ongoing professional growth is

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state license to practice Occupational Therapy in the service state.
• NBCOT certification.
• Experience with school-aged children or educational settings preferred.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt interventions to meet students’ needs in school environments.
• Value collaboration and student-centered services.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and assessments of students' needs (fine motor, sensory, visual-motor, daily living).
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals.
• Provide direct OT services to students individually or in groups.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams for accommodations and interventions.
• Participate in IEP meetings and document student progress.
• Educate staff and families on strategies to generalize interventions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, progress, and sessions.
• Engage in ongoing professional development with best practices in school-based OT.
