Therapy Solutions Collective (TSCO) is seeking a School-Based Occupational Therapist for leave coverage in Portland, OR. The role focuses on evaluating and treating students to support educational access, with collaboration among teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

The OT will implement individualized treatment plans, participate in IEP meetings, and document progress while adhering to state licensure and NBCOT standards.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state OT license in the state where services will be provided.
• NBCOT certification required or preferred.
• Experience with school-aged children or educational settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and assessments for fine motor, sensory processing, and related needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals.
• Provide direct OT services to students individually or in small groups.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams for classroom accommodations.
• Participate in IEP meetings and document student progress.
• Educate staff and families on strategies for generalization of interventions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, progress, and sessions.

Therapy Solutions Collective (TSCO) is looking for dedicated and motivated Occupational Therapists (OTs) to join our team for the 2026–2027 school year. We partner with school districts across the country, providing school-based opportunities for Occupational Therapists in a variety of settings. What You’ll Be Doing

• Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify students' fine motor, sensory processing, visual-motor, and daily living skill needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support students' ability to access and succeed in their educational environments.
• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students individually or in small groups, aligned with their IEP goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support classroom modifications, accommodations, and interventions.
• Participate in IEP meetings, contributing to goal development and documentation of student progress.
• Educate and support staff and families on strategies for generalization and carryover of therapeutic interventions.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, progress reports, treatment sessions, and communications.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices, tools, and techniques in school-based OT.
• More specific job roles will vary based on state and district requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the state where services will be provided.
• National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification.
• Experience working with school-aged children or in educational settings preferred.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt interventions to meet students’ individual needs in dynamic school environments.
• Someone who values collaboration and student-centered services.
