Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is seeking an Occupational Therapist to cover a long-term leave in the Portland, OR area. This in-person, full-time school-based role serves elementary, middle, and high school students with a varied caseload.

The ideal candidate will hold a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy and an active Oregon OT license; school-based experience is preferred. We offer competitive pay, liability insurance, a 401(k) with company match, and reimbursement for licensure and CEUs.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• Active Oregon OT License required.
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services in the school setting.
• Conduct assessments and write comprehensive evaluation reports.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams.
• Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills.
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
