Ampersand Therapy is hiring a School-Based Occupational Therapist for a long-term leave coverage in the Burnsville, MN area. This in-person, full-time itinerant position runs from Aug 31 to Oct 14 during the 2026-2027 school year.

You will create an inclusive classroom setting, develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans, participate in IEP meetings, collaborate with teachers and families, and maintain timely documentation and progress notes.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Active Minnesota OT license.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
• Previous experience working in the classroom setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create an inclusive classroom setting for all learners.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams.
• Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills.
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
