Mariani Landscape is looking for a Business Development Manager to drive new commercial maintenance growth in the Portland Metro area. The role involves establishing client relationships, preparing sales strategies, and identifying new business opportunities.

Ideal candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in landscaping sales, strong communication skills, and the ability to utilize software systems effectively.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience selling landscape maintenance services or similar in a commercial/HOA setting.
Excellent sales acumen with the ability to identify, pursue, and close opportunities.
Strong communication, presentation, and marketing abilities.

Responsibilities

Establish and maintain current and potential client relationships.
Prepare action plans and sales strategy to identify specific prospects.
Identify sales prospects and follow up on new leads.
Prepare sales bids to secure new accounts in target markets.
Visit prospective clients throughout the Portland Metro area.
Attend industry events and build relationships with potential clients.
Utilize software to create, track, and manage client estimates.
