Job summary

VRC is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Associate to support the growth of its Portfolio Valuation practice. You will work with senior professionals to build client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and contribute to revenue growth through strategic outreach and marketing activities.

The role involves market research, outreach to target companies, and collaboration with internal teams to manage engagements and meetings.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of business development, relationship management, or client-facing experience in valuation or related financial services.
• Proven success developing professional relationships and generating new opportunities.
• Strong verbal and written communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of VRC’s Portfolio Valuation business.
• Conduct market research to identify target companies and key individuals at those companies.
• Initiate communications with companies and conduct ongoing follow-up.
• Support revenue growth by facilitating introductions, meetings, proposals, and engagement opportunities.
• Build relationships with existing clients and network to strengthen ties.
• Attend industry conferences and develop relationships in those settings.
• Provide research support for client meetings.
• Develop marketing collateral, presentations, and meeting materials.
• Create and host networking and other professional events.
