Job summary

VRC in New York seeks a highly motivated Business Development Associate to support the growth of its Portfolio Valuation practice. You will partner with senior professionals to cultivate client relationships, identify opportunities, and help drive revenue growth.

Responsibilities include market research, outreach, meeting coordination, and developing marketing materials. The role requires 3–6 years of relevant experience and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of business development, relationship management, or client-facing experience in valuation, financial services, investment management, private equity, banking or related services.
• Proven success developing relationships and generating new business opportunities.
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and collaborate with internal teams on time-sensitive engagements.

Responsibilities

• Develop deep understanding of VRC’s Portfolio Valuation business.
• Conduct market research to identify target companies and key individuals.
• Initiate communications with companies and conduct ongoing follow-up.
• Support revenue growth by facilitating introductions, meetings, proposals, and engagements.
• Build relationships with existing clients and network at industry events.
• Provide research support for meetings and develop marketing collateral.
