Job summary

VRC is a global valuation firm focused on valuation and advisory services. This role conducts valuations of various securities for investment companies, including illiquid investments. Associates support the Portfolio group leader and work with junior analysts on valuation assignments and client reports.

You will research securities, build and refine valuation models, gather client data, and help prepare client reports while collaborating with a diverse team and meeting tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics with valuation coursework.
• CFA or ASA designation or progress toward designation is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication and analytical skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on securities, competitors, industry, and capital markets.
• Gather and document data obtained through client interaction.
• Build, modify, and use financial models for various valuations.
• Assist junior analysts and perform valuation analyses to conclude fair value.
• Begin to prepare and review client reports.
