Job summary

Rockland Trust's Operational Risk Management team invites you to a summer internship that challenges you to identify, assess, and monitor risks across the Bank. You’ll work with risk professionals and business partners to strengthen controls, support risk programs, and prepare materials for committees.

As an Operational Risk Summer Intern, you’ll gain exposure to enterprise risk, RCSA, and fraud and third‑party risk initiatives while developing analytical, communication, and leadership skills

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program.
• Expected graduation between December 2026 and May 2028.
• Pursuing a degree in risk management, finance, accounting, business administration, economics, or related field.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Participate in team meetings to learn ORM programs.
• Collaborate with first line partners to understand operations, risks and controls.
• Assist with ad hoc reporting and data analysis for stakeholders.
• Support preparation and review of ORM materials for committees and leadership.
• Contribute to risk initiatives including incident management, fraud risk, and third‑party risk.
• Assist in creating and maintaining program documentation and user guides.
• Present recommendations to leadership at program end.
