Job summary

Exxon Mobil Corporation in Midland, Texas seeks a Portfolio Project Engineer to lead assigned projects across multiple disciplines, ensuring safety, quality, cost and schedule objectives.

You will coordinate with cost, schedule & controls engineers, SSHE professionals and field teams, travel weekly to Delaware Basin sites and drive procurement, contract execution and closeout activities to deliver value for the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Ability to analyze and discuss complex concepts effectively.
• Ability to work autonomously and contribute to success of a team.

Responsibilities

• Engage in execution plans, including contracting/procurement strategies development and implementation.
• Communicates with, coordinates, and directs project, functional, business, operations and other discipline support to ensure timely completion of reviews.
• Identifies project issues and executes/stewards appropriate actions to resolution, including formal change management.
• Supports the transition between project stages from pre-Gate 3 to closeout, ensuring compliance with ExxonMobil standards.
• Supports procurement activities, including materials requisitioning and expediting.
• Responsible for contractor administration activities and site turnover.
