Job summary

ExxonMobil is seeking a senior facility engineer to provide technical support for surface facilities in the Permian Basin, Midland, TX. You will leverage engineering and project management expertise to support operations, drive surveillance, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Role requires 3+ years in an oil and gas facilities-focused role, strong project execution skills, and the ability to manage changes and drawings (P&IDs).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in an Oil and Gas engineering role with a focus on facilities or upstream unconventional.
• Demonstrated experience in managing and executing projects.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to understand/redline P&ID drawings.

Responsibilities

• Provide operations support, project execution and surveillance for surface facilities.
• Ensure facility processes meet regulatory standards and business objectives.
• Develop and manage project scope, budget and procurement plans.
• Execute projects from FEED to Operations handover.
• Develop surveillance tools and track facility metrics.
