NextGear Capital, a Cox Automotive company, is seeking a Portfolio Manager to oversee a growing portfolio of dealer clients across Northwestern Ohio and Detroit South. You will manage lines of credit from $50,000 to $2.5M and serve as a fiduciary by maintaining relationships and mitigating risk.

The role requires in-person or virtual client engagement within the territory, strong financial acumen, and the ability to navigate risk and recovery with internal partners.

Qualifikationen

• BA/BS in finance or related field is required or equivalent experience.
• Experience in B2B client facing roles with a focus on credit or finance.
• Automotive and/or floorplan industry background preferred.

Aufgaben

• Optimize dealers' use of lines of credit ($50K–$2.5M) within portfolios.
• Meet goals by engaging clients in person or virtually to drive revenue.
• Educate clients on performance behaviors and self-service options.
• Collect and analyze financials and dashboards to monitor dealer performance.
• Identify growth opportunities using historical data and tools.
• Collaborate with Risk and Recovery on pre/post-default activities.
• Inspect inventory and ensure audits and repossessions are accurate.
• Act as fiduciary, report non-compliance or fraud to protect the company.
• Maintain integrity and pursue best outcomes for clients and firm.
• Document conversations in Salesforce and complete campaigns.
• Onboard new clients to ensure positive experiences.
• Cultivate cross-functional Cox Automotive relationships.
