NextGear Capital, a Cox Automotive company, is seeking a Portfolio Manager to manage a dealer client portfolio in the Kansas City area. You will optimize credit usage, assess risk, and collaborate with Risk/Recovery to protect profitability.

Ideal candidates will have strong financial acumen, experience in finance or B2B account management, and the ability to travel 60% with a valid driver's license. Base salary range: $89,400–$134,000 per year.

Qualifications

• BA/BS with 4+ years related experience in finance, client facing, B2B, account management and/or collections.
• Automotive and/or floorplan industry background preferred.
• Proficiency in reading and analyzing financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, tax returns, bank statements).
• Strong financial acumen with knowledge of key financial tools and terminology.

Responsabilités

• Optimize each client's use of the line of credit within an assigned portfolio.
• Achieve goals and drive revenue while managing risk and profitability.
• Iinstruct clients on performance behaviors, self-service options, and compliance.
• Collect and analyze client financials and dashboards to monitor dealer performance.
• Identify growth targets using historical data and market insights.
• Collaborate with Risk and Recovery on pre-default and post-default actions.
• Conduct inventory inspections and ensure audit accuracy.
• Report non-compliance or fraud; act with fiduciary responsibility.
• Document conversations in Salesforce and complete campaigns.
• Onboard new clients for a positive experience.
• Foster cross-functional Cox Automotive relationships and opportunities.
