Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Portfolio Manager to partner with Relationship Managers in managing a corporate banking credit portfolio and growing revenue through successful underwriting, closing new business, and expanding existing client relationships.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, with responsibilities spanning risk management, client service, and collaboration on sales calls to identify customer needs and drive credit solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.
• Six to eight years of relevant experience.
• Advanced knowledge of commercial/corporate lending and credit standards, policies, procedures and products.
• Strong relationship management and business development skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite all types of credit account exposure and manage an assigned credit portfolio.
• Close new business relationships and expand existing relationships.
• Provide customer service and participate in joint sales calls with Relationship Managers.
• Identify customer needs and respond to credit questions.
