Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Corporate Credit Analyst to manage CPS credit risk within established policies and loss rates, underwriting CPS customers and managing portfolios across industries. You’ll approve lines for new relationships and help expand existing ones.

You will work with Sales and Relationship Managers on credit questions and participate in joint client calls to support successful outcomes. A Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting and 3–5 years in commercial banking are preferred,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent work experience.
• 3–5 years of commercial banking or relevant experience.
• Advanced knowledge of applicable laws and regulations, and policies and procedures.
• Advanced knowledge of credit quality standards and industry-specific credit products.

Responsibilities

• Manages CPS credit risk within bank policy and historical loss rates.
• Underwrites CPS customers and qualifies them for credit lines; manages portfolios.
• Responds to credit questions; exercises independent judgment on portfolios.
• Participates in joint customer calls with Sales and Relationship Managers when credit issues arise.
