Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Credit Portfolio Manager to partner with Relationship Managers in underwriting and managing a portfolio of credit accounts. The role focuses on closing new business, expanding relationships, and managing credit risk while delivering superior customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5–7 years wholesale banking or related experience.
• Thorough knowledge of credit products, lending policy, applicable laws and regulations, credit quality standards, company and business line policies and procedures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong relationship management and business development skills.
• Effective written communication and verbal presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite all types of credit account exposure and manage assigned credit portfolio.
• Close new business relationships and expand existing relationships.
• Manage credit risk and respond to customer credit questions.
• Support customer service and participate in joint sales calls with Relationship Managers.
• Identify customer needs and provide solutions.
