Global X ETFs is seeking a highly motivated professional to join the Portfolio Management team at Global X ETFs. The Associate, Portfolio Management will play a key role in the daily oversight of a diverse range of ETFs, including equity, fixed income, and structured derivatives strategies. This position requires strong quantitative and modeling skills, along with a deep understanding of ETF portfolio management and the broader ETF ecosystem. The Associate will work cross-functionally with teams such as Portfolio Management, Trading & Capital Markets, and Product Development to support operational excellence and enhance the firm’s capabilities across asset classes. The ideal candidate brings experience within the ETF ecosystem, including a strong background in financial instruments and fund management.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the ETF portfolio management and investment process, including:

• Work closely with the Portfolio Managers to monitor funds daily, and identify and take necessary actions as appropriate; manage inflows/outflows; assist with index rebalances and propose sizing trades (equities, fixed income, derivatives)
• Maintain and enhance reports used by PMs to manage risk, exposure, and benchmark tracking across asset classes
• Assist in enhancing the portfolio management and trading infrastructure via Excel, Python, and SQL
• Support new product initiatives and frameworks for portfolio management
• Exhibit strong attention to detail while working effectively in a team environment

Desired Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of practical experience in ETF industry or related portfolio management
• ETF or passive portfolio management experience required
• Proficiency in programming tools: Python, SQL, VBA, Bloomberg BQL/BQNT
• Experience with Bloomberg AIM, EMSX, Aladdin and/or Charles River a plus
• Advanced degree or CFA Charterholder a plus

For New York City Only

The base salary range for this position is $115,000-$150,000. In addition, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and competitive benefits package. The total compensation package for this position may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
