Position Description
General Atlantic is looking to hire an Associate to support the Portfolio Management team. This position will report directly to the Vice President of Portfolio Management. This role is a two-year program (with the ability to extend, depending on performance and business need).
The Portfolio Management team provides a senior-level analytics and risk management function at the firm, working closely with our senior leaders and investment team members, and partnering with our fundraising, finance operations, valuations, and capital markets teams. The Portfolio Management team leverages portfolio company data to identify risks, opportunities, and assess the general health of our portfolio for the senior level Portfolio Committee. The team also leverages this data for internal and external reporting, including directly with investors. The generalist role will have a broad overall view of GA’s 200+ portfolio companies, and within GA itself. The Associate will partner with professionals across the firm while serving a vital role to the efficiency and effectiveness of the Portfolio Management team.
