The Oregon State Hospital is currently seeking a Portfolio Management Analyst to oversee cross-functional projects from initiation to successful completion, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities, adherence to deadlines, and efficient utilization of resources. As the Portfolio Management Analyst, you will be responsible for managing all stages of the project lifecycle—including planning, execution, monitoring, risk management, change control, and closure—while facilitating effective collaboration and clear communication among vested parties. You will utilize established project management methodologies, tools, and techniques to ensure the delivery of efficient, well-coordinated, and high-quality results that enhance organizational performance.
Minimum Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, Finance, Political Science or any degree demonstrating the capacity for the knowledge and skills and four years professional-level evaluative, analytical and planning work. OR
- Any combination of experience and education equivalent to seven years of professional-level evaluative, analytical and planning work.

- Experience managing cross-functional projects, initiatives, and/or implementation efforts with organization-wide or multi-program impact.
- Skill in translating strategic, policy, and/or operational priorities into actionable plans, workflows, systems, and/or implementation approaches.
- Skill in proactively identifying potential project risks/issues, conducting thorough assessments, and developing clear risk/issue mitigation strategies.
- Skill in exhibiting strong attention to detail by consistently reviewing project tasks and deliverables for accuracy and quality.
- Experience preparing executive-level written materials such as briefings, reports, dashboards, recommendations, and/or presentations.
- Experience facilitating meetings, workgroups, impacted partner engagement, or collaborative problem-solving across diverse audiences.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or Oregon Project Management Certification (OPMCP) preferred, not required.
