John Hancock seeks an AVP of Investment Portfolio Oversight & Strategy Reporting in Boston to lead governance, performance measurement, and executive reporting for the US investment portfolio. You will ensure investments are prioritized, governed, measured and reported clearly to senior leadership, boards and investors, fostering objectivity and continuous improvement.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, engineering or related quantitative discipline; MBA or designation is a plus.
• 12+ years in strategy, portfolio management, investment governance, transformation, corporate finance or management consulting in a large organization.
• 5+ years of people leadership building high-performing analytical/advisory teams.
• Experience presenting to executives and boards, with recurring reporting in public or regulated environments.
• Strong financial acumen and ability to distill complexity for executive use; experience in financial services preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Own and evolve the investment governance framework for strategic and transformation investments.
• Maintain a single view of the portfolio and provide independent oversight of health across scope, financials, timeline, resourcing, risk and value.
• Lead portfolio performance reporting with insights, trends, and actionable recommendations for leadership decisions.
• Provide analytical foundation for prioritization including scoring and scenario modelling with Finance.
• Design and lead benefits realization with measurable, baselined outcomes.
• Identify risks and dependencies early and present options to decision-makers.
• Oversee strategy reporting calendar and ensure accuracy across executive, board and external disclosures.
• Modernize reporting through automation, AI-enabled analytics and standardized tools.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team with focus on objectivity and inclusion.
