Job summary

CrossCountry in San Francisco seeks an experienced FP&A professional to support private equity portfolio companies in the Software/SaaS sector. You will build diagnostics, budgets, forecasts, and dashboards, translating complex data into actionable insights for CFOs and portfolio teams.

The role emphasizes ARR, bookings, headcount, cash flow forecasting, and model development. Travel up to 40% and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver value across portfolios, mentoring colleagues

Qualifications

• 5+ years in FP&A, preferably in a Private Equity backed company.
• Software/SaaS industry experience.
• Strong client relationships.
• Experience communicating with Controller group and understanding revenue drivers.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Knowledge of data analytics tools (Tableau/Alteryx/SQL) a plus.
• CPA is a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 40%.

Responsibilities

• Create diagnostic framework for portfolio companies' finance functions.
• Lead parts of portfolio support via budgets/forecasts using operational drivers for Software/SaaS (ARR, bookings, headcount).
• Prepare financial management reports (ARR, bookings, headcount) comparing actuals to forecasts and budgets.
• Build/modify analytical resources, models, and dashboards to aid decision-making (ARR roll-forwards).
• Develop cash flow forecasts (monthly and 13-week).
• Transition solutions back to portfolio companies.
• Maintain relationships with portfolio company reps; collaborate with CrossCountry team.
• Mentor team members and help project teams resolve issues.
