Job summary

Signet Jewelers seeks a Portfolio Director, Merchandising & Supply Chain within its Digital & Technology organization. The role oversees a multi-year portfolio, aligning Merchandising and Supply Chain initiatives with strategic business goals across a hybrid environment in Dallas, TX or Akron, OH.

The leader manages project managers, drives financial oversight, governance, and benefits realization while partnering with Solution Directors to remove roadblocks and ensure business continuity.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in technology portfolio management or related leadership roles.
• Experience overseeing multi-million-dollar technology portfolios and executive financial reporting.
• Proven ability to lead multiple project managers across complex initiatives.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile and waterfall delivery methods.
• Ability to translate complex data into executive updates.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall portfolio management function for Merchandising & Supply Chain within Digital & Technology, including intake, prioritization, planning, delivery tracking, risk management, reporting, and governance.
• Own portfolio-level budget management across capital, expense, forecasting, reconciliation, and funding requests; partner with Finance, Vendor Management, Procurement, and leadership for controls.
• Oversee multiple project managers and ensure project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and decisions are actively managed.
• Maintain accountability for successful project execution and ongoing business-as-usual outcomes, including status reporting and benefits tracking.
• Partner with Solution Directors to define scope, estimate resources, align priorities, support solution delivery, and remove roadblocks.
• Develop and deliver concise, executive-ready updates for senior leadership on portfolio health, budget, status, risks, and value.
• Establish and reinforce portfolio management practices, tools, templates, and reporting standards.
• Build trusted relationships with Merchandising, Supply Chain, Finance, D&T, and cross-functional partners.
• Drive transformational change and develop teams for continuous improvement in delivery and accountability.
• Ensure production readiness and ongoing support remain a core focus alongside project delivery.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Legal, Vendor Management on SOWs, vendor deliverables, and cost management.
