The Opportunity

The Portfolio Analyst monitors borrower performance, identifies deviations, and raises credit concerns. They build strong relationships internally and externally, understanding clients’ operational performance and needs, and perform duties in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct financial analysis of credit and collateral, focusing on data collection and analysis.
  • Validate borrower compliance with loan agreements.
  • Perform financial, operational, valuation, and transactional analyses.
  • Assist in underwriting modifications or renewals and present deals to credit committees.
  • Complete borrower risk assessments.
  • Maintain data integrity in bank systems.
  • Collaborate with portfolio companies’ management teams.
  • Travel to client sites as needed.
  • Uphold organizational values, work ethically, and support a respectful, diverse environment.
  • Follow safety procedures and support company policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Ability to analyze financial statements (profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow).
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Comfortable interacting with clients.
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
  • Self-starter with great attention to detail.
  • Bachelor’s Degree and relevant experience; 1-2 years preferred.
