Job summary

Acrisure is seeking a hands-on Portfolio Actuary to power pricing tools and analytics across a wide range of insurance programs. You’ll collaborate with underwriters and reinsurers to shape pricing strategies and build dashboards that reveal performance and profitability.

The role emphasizes practical problem-solving, data-driven decision making, and close cooperation with program teams. ACAS with 5–10 years in P&C pricing and strong Python/SQL skills are required.

Qualifications

• ACAS credential with ~5-10 years of P&C pricing experience.
• Solid track record in actuarial pricing, indications, and data analysis.
• Hands-on proficiency in Python and SQL for both modeling and automation.
• Advanced Excel skills (including VBA or macros) to complement your coding toolkit.
• Excellent communicator—skilled at distilling complex analyses into clear business insights.
• Self-starter comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Technology-driven mindset with a passion for modernizing actuarial workflows.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance actuarial pricing tools for multiple products and lines.
• Create dashboards to monitor performance and present insights to stakeholders.
• Leverage Palantir, Python, SQL, and advanced Excel to automate tasks.
• Work with large datasets to identify trends and opportunities.
• Collaborate with underwriters, claims, and brokers to translate analyses into recommendations.
• Drive efficiency gains across the actuarial workflow.
