Job summary

Acrisure is seeking a hands-on Portfolio Actuary to drive pricing tool development and analytics for its insurance programs. You’ll collaborate with underwriters, program managers, and reinsurance brokers to shape pricing models and reporting used across 13 MGAs with diverse products.

You will apply Palantir, Python, SQL, and advanced Excel to streamline workflows, build dashboards, and present data-driven recommendations to leadership. A fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment awaits.

Qualifications

• ACAS credential with 5–10 years of P&C pricing experience.
• Solid track record in actuarial pricing, indications, and data analysis.
• Hands-on proficiency in Python and SQL for modeling and automation.
• Advanced Excel skills (including VBA or macros) to complement coding.
• Excellent communicator with ability to distill analyses into insights.
• Self-starter in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Technology-driven mindset to modernize actuarial workflows.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain and enhance actuarial pricing tools for multiple products and lines of business.
• Create dashboards to track performance and build presentations for stakeholders and reinsurers.
• Leverage Palantir, Python, SQL to streamline processes and extract insights.
• Work with large datasets to identify trends, exposures, and opportunities.
• Engage underwriters, claims professionals, program teams, and brokers to translate analyses into business recommendations.
• Identify and implement efficiency gains across actuarial workflow.
