Job summary

Acrisure is seeking a hands-on Portfolio Actuary to drive growth in its insurance programs. You will work directly with underwriters, program managers, and reinsurance brokers to shape pricing tools and refine models used across 13 MGAs.

This is a practical, analytics-driven role focused on real business impact. You will leverage Palantir, Python, SQL, and advanced Excel to build pricing tools, generate dashboards, and provide actionable insights for profitability and competitiveness.

Qualifications

• ACAS credential with 5–10 years of P&C pricing experience.
• Strong track record in actuarial pricing, indications, and data analysis.
• Hands-on proficiency in Python and SQL for modeling and automation.
• Advanced Excel skills (including VBA or macros) to complement coding.
• Excellent communicator who distills complex analyses into clear business insights.

Responsibilities

• Rating Tools: Build, maintain and enhance actuarial pricing tools for multiple products and lines of business.
• Reporting and Monitoring: Create dashboards to track performance and build compelling internal/external presentations.
• Analytics & Automation: Leverage Palantir, Python, SQL and advanced Excel to streamline processes and extract insights.
• Data Exploration: Work with large datasets to identify trends and opportunities.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage underwriters, program teams, and brokers to translate analyses into business recommendations.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement efficiency gains across actuarial workflows.
