Job summary

Guide Property Services is a mid-size management company seeking a Portfolio Accountant to grow with the team in Seattle. The role focuses on the financial oversight of a multifamily portfolio, collaborating with property managers and onsite staff to address financial items and client issues.

You will be responsible for month-end and year-end reporting, bank reconciliations, and delivering accurate financials with a positive, proactive problem-solving approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Experience in the property management industry.
• Proven working experience as an accountant or bookkeeper.
• Excellent client and internal communication skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge and fluency in Microsoft Office.
• Preferred knowledge of AppFolio property management software.
