About The Company

Our client is a real estate development company specializing in unique, community-driven residential buildings with a portfolio spanning throughout the US.

Responsibilities

• Manage and perform month-end close process including preparation of financial reporting packages and commentary to owners/partners
• Preparation, validation, and tracking of detailed quarterly portfolio metrics around valuations, operations, and performance multifamily real estate portfolio
• Compile and analyze detailed budget variance reports, income, expense, capital expenditures, leasing costs, NOI, cash flow, and quarterly forecasts
• Assist in revenue management and budgeting through data mining and system generated analysis
• Preparation of annual property budgets and business plans
• Oversee and follow-up with property management regarding resident ledgers, account receivable resident aging, and gross potential revenue report/vacancy rent posting

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• 2-3 years of related accounting experience
• Knowledge of real estate and residential accounting
• Proficiency with Excel
• GAAP reporting experience
• Tax and IFRS reporting experience a plus
