Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a Porter to deliver, maintain, stock and clean throughout the venue, ensuring a steady supply of products and assisting with setup and breakdown for events as needed.

This role requires high attention to cleanliness and safety, includes transporting items, stocking storerooms, and supporting the Chef with opening and closing duties as assigned. The pay rate is $19 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Washes all china, glass, and silverware.
• Cleans all equipment, pots, and pans pre, during, and post-event.
• Stores all equipment in proper locations.
• Sweeps and mop all floors in the kitchen/office areas.
• Maintains a clean and safe working environment.
• Transports food and equipment throughout the venue as needed.
• Monitors cleaning supply stock levels per venue needs.
• Ensures that assigned areas are kept clean and orderly.
• Performs and assists with routine inventory on a daily basis of all required stock per area of responsibility.
• Ensures that requisitions are delivered in a timely manner.
• Assists with deliveries and stocking storeroom and side stations.
• Assists members in a timely, efficient and professional manner.
• Fulfills the assigned opening and closing duties as assigned by the Chef.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.

The Role:

The Porter position is responsible for the delivery, maintaining, stocking, cleaning and ensuring that there is a sufficient supply of products in the venue. Services to include assistance in setting up and/or breaking down functions periodically or as needed.
