Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a Porter to support event operations by delivering, stocking, cleaning and maintaining supplies for venue functions. The role includes assisting in setting up and breaking down spaces for events and ensuring a clean, safe work environment.

Responsibilities include washing dishes and utensils, cleaning equipment, transporting items around the venue, monitoring stock, and helping with deliveries. A flexible schedule is required to meet event demands.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to read, speak and write English to communicate with staff and guests.
• Ability to work all venue events and maintain a flexible schedule including extended hours, days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be punctual and dependable.
• Must maintain personal hygiene and a well-groomed appearance per company/venue standards.

• Washes all china, glass, and silverware.
• Cleans all equipment, pots, and pans before, during, and after events.
• Stores all equipment in proper locations.
• Sweeps and mops all floors in the kitchen/office areas.
• Maintains a clean and safe working environment.
• Transports food and equipment throughout the venue as needed.
• Monitors cleaning supply stock levels per venue needs.
• Assists with deliveries and stocking storeroom and side stations.
• Performs opening and closing duties as assigned by the Chef.

• Fulfillsthe assigned opening and closing dutiesas assigned by the Chef.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Ability to work in an open aired environment during all climate conditions

• Must maintain personal hygiene and a well-groomed appearance in accordance with company and venue standards
• Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including constant standing, reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift and transport items weighing 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette preferred
• Ability to effectively listen and take direction from management
• Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting
