Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a Porter to support event operations at our venue. You will help deliver, stock, clean and ensure a steady supply of products to the venue during and between events.

Responsibilities include setting up and breaking down functions, transporting food and equipment, and maintaining a safe, tidy workspace while following all safety policies. Equal opportunity employer committed to diverse workforce.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to read, speak and write English in order to communicate with staff and guests.
• Ability to work all venue events and maintain a flexible schedule to meet service demand levels, including extended hours, days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work in an open aired environment during all climate conditions.
• Must be punctual and dependable.
• Must maintain personal hygiene and a well-groomed appearance in accordance with company and venue standards.
• Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including constant standing, reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift and transport items weighing 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette preferred.
• Ability to effectively listen and take direction from management.
• Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.

• Storesall equipment in proper locations.
• Sweepsand mop all floors in the kitchen/office areas.
• Maintainsa clean and safe working environment.
• Practicessafe work habits, followsall safetypolicies, procedures,and regulations, completescompany-wide safetytraining and any additional job specific safety training.
• Transportsfood and equipment throughout the venue as needed.
• Monitorscleaning supply stocklevelsper venueneeds.
• Ensures that assigned areas are kept clean and orderly.
• Performs and assists with routine inventory on a daily basis of all required stock per area of responsibility.
• Ensures that requisitions are delivered in a timely manner.
• Assistswithdeliveriesand stocking storeroom and side stations.
• Assistsmembers in a timely, efficient and professional manner.
• Fulfillsthe assigned opening and closing dutiesas assigned by the Chef.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
