Job summary

Vivmark Residential in Bothell, Washington is seeking a dedicated Porter/Custodian to maintain the community’s interior and exterior spaces according to operating and safety standards. This role blends custodial and light maintenance tasks to uphold a pristine living environment for residents.

Qualifications

• 0-1 year of custodial/maintenance experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to communicate with team members and residents.
• Ability to read and understand policies and procedures including Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
• Knowledge of PPE and proper cleaning products usage.
• Basic understanding of emergency systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of common areas, grounds, and amenities.
• Clean and sanitize high-traffic areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, and recreation spaces.
• Monitor outdoor spaces including sidewalks, parking lots, and landscaping.
• Ensure trash and recycling areas are regularly emptied and tidy.
• Conduct routine inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Address minor maintenance like light bulb replacement and touch-ups.
• Assist residents with moving in/out of apartments.
• Provide friendly, responsive customer service to residents.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure a positive resident experience.
• Maintain outdoor landscaping and keep areas free of debris.
• Complete work orders in a timely manner.
