Job summary

Sea Crest Maintenance Services LLC in San Diego, CA is seeking a Day Porter to maintain cleanliness, safety, and appearance of assigned properties during evening shifts.

You will follow schedules, respond to requests, clean lobbies and restrooms, manage trash, glass surfaces, dust and vacuum, and uphold safety policies.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Follow instructions and cleaning schedules.
• Respond promptly to building and cleaning requests.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness of lobbies, corridors, elevators, and stairwells.
• Pick up, empty, and transport trash and recycling.
• Remove debris from floors and surrounding areas.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms including toilets and sinks.
• Refill paper towels, toilet paper, and soap dispensers.
• Clean spills and maintain safe conditions.
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas.
• Clean glass surfaces including doors and mirrors.
• Perform detailed dusting, vacuuming, and mopping as needed.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Position Summary

The Day Porter is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of assigned properties. This position requires a proactive approach to cleaning, responsiveness to requests, and consistent attention to detail throughout the workday.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Including but not limited to:

• Follow instructions and assigned cleaning schedules
• Respond promptly to building and cleaning requests
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness of lobbies, corridors, elevators, and stairwells
• Pick up, empty, and transport trash and recycling

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and carry a backpack vacuum (approximately 12 pounds)
