Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a reliable Day Porter to maintain cleanliness, safety, and the overall appearance of assigned properties in our California portfolio. This part-time role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and a strong attention to detail during scheduled shifts.

Shift is Mon-Fri, 9:00 am–2:00 pm, starting 10/09/2026. Duties include cleaning lobbies, restrooms, glass surfaces, trash removal, dusting, vacuuming, and reporting maintenance needs.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Reliable transportation required.
• 1–2 years of janitorial or cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to follow a set schedule.
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Follow instructions and assigned cleaning schedules.
• Respond promptly to building and cleaning requests.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness of lobbies, corridors, elevators, and stairwells.
• Pick up, empty, and transport trash and recycling.
• Remove debris from floors and surrounding areas.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms including toilets and sinks.
• Refill paper towel, toilet paper, and soap dispensers.
• Clean spills and maintain safe conditions at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas.
• Clean glass surfaces including doors and mirrors.
• Perform detailed dusting, vacuuming, and mopping as needed.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Position Summary:
