Job Summary:

The Day Porter provides cleaning and upkeep of an assigned area after events conclude.

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older
• At least 3 months of experience needed
• No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Customer service experience
• One year of similar work experience

Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain buildings/facilities
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and equipment to prevent damage
• Notify management of repairs or system issues
• Maintain effective communication with clients and team members
• Adhere to safety, security, and quality standards
• Clean furniture, fixtures, floors, ceilings, walls, and equipment
• Move furniture and equipment as needed
• Clean interior glass, windows, and mirrors
• Wash and replace blinds
• Empty trash and sweep walkways
• Perform seasonal tasks like raking leaves or snow removal
• Clean and service restrooms

This role is suitable for individuals entering or returning to the workforce with limited experience. ABM is veteran-friendly; military experience is encouraged. Military Occupational Specialty Codes include: 92S, 92Y, LS, DC.
