Job Description for Porter at Puttery

Location: New York, NY 10014 (This is a 100% onsite position)

Position Type: Hourly

Compensation: $18.00/hr - $22.00/hr

Job Purpose

The role of a Porter is to keep the venue clean and organized for our guests. All staff should create and maintain an inviting atmosphere through positivity, support, shared knowledge, and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Complete housekeeping tasks as directed by the Facility Manager and Supervisor
• Clean, repair, and perform general maintenance on the interior and exterior of the venue, including floors, storage areas, restrooms, etc.
• Ensure restrooms are clean and stocked with supplies (toilet paper, soap, etc.)
• Maintain inventory and par levels of maintenance supplies and equipment
• Maintain the venue's condition diligently
• Respond to guest requests and concerns related to cleanliness and safety
• Follow safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as requested by management

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous custodial experience preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with good stamina and mobility
• Availability to work days, nights, holidays, and weekends, with extended standing and walking both indoors and outdoors
• Familiarity with safety and sanitation best practices

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for hours, maneuver stairs, and lift up to 50 pounds without assistance
