Job summary

K-Dans Grocery + Deli is seeking a dependable Porter / Dish Room Attendant to support daily operations in a refinery cafeteria. You will wash dishes, sanitize equipment, and maintain cleanliness in the dish room and kitchen, working with cafeteria staff in a fast-paced environment.

The role follows a Monday–Friday day schedule with no evenings or weekends, and training will cover safety procedures and proper handling of kitchen duties.

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work a consistent Monday–Friday schedule.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Able to follow instructions and work well with others.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing repetitive physical tasks.
• Able to lift and carry supplies, dishes, and equipment as required by the job.
• Previous dishwashing, janitorial, or food service experience is a plus, but not required.

Work Environment

This position is based in a refinery cafeteria and requires working in a commercial kitchen and dish room environment. Duties may include exposure to hot water, steam, cleaning chemicals, wet floors, and varying temperatures. Employees must follow all required food safety, sanitation, and refinery site safety rules.

Training will be provided on job duties, equipment, and applicable safety procedures.
